Clarisonic Mia 2 Review

October 30, 2016

My skin has always been a constant battle. I'm one of those "combination skin" girls . . . meaning that my skin is both dry and oily. Not only do I have to put up with my dry AND oily skin (Ugh, such a pain!) but I also have to deal with obnoxiously large pores and acne struggles. If you couldn't tell, my skin and I are in a constant battle . . . some days (or most days) I just wish that my skin was not so sensitive!

Several months ago, I found out that I would be able to partner with Clarisonic as a result of an amazing campaign that HerCampus was headlining. Now, you have probably heard about Clarisonic before . . . I mean, who hasn't?! The company is definitly known for completely revolutionizing skincare regimens. As you could imaging, I was beyond ecstatic to welcome this amazing tool into my skincare routine. This amazing tool worked wonders! As I mentioned above, I have really sensitive skin. Thankfully, the face cleansing brush cleansed my skin beautifully! Every time I used it, I felt as if my pores could breath again.

To provide you with a little bit of an overview, the Clarisonic Mia 2 set came with a variety of tools: the Mia 2 device, Deep Pore Daily Cleanser, Deep Pore Detoxifying Clay Mask (my favorite!!), and a Deep Pore Brush Head. The Mia device even has two speeds! My favorite part is that the device is waterproof, so I am able to continue to cleanse my face in the shower. Bonus!!

If you have ever wanted to try out a Clarisonic device, this is definitly your opportunity to--add it to your Christmas list, or purchase one for a friend for the holidays. But make sure to use the 15% off coupon code, HER CAMPUS. It is valid until November 20 :)

Surprise! On this lovely Monday, you guys not only get one outfit, but two! I hope that you guys saw my first SammyDress review that was posted on Friday (if not, you can read up on it here!) I'm always continuously amazed with how SammyDress is able to produce such amazing quality items at insanely affordable prices. For example, this amazing olive green button-up dress is under $13. Yup, you read that correctly. Thirteen-dollars!!!! Both of their pieces above help to create the most amazing fall outfits . . . Just FYI, I'm 99% sure that I am going to wear this black-and-white button-up at least once a week.

I hope that you are having an amazing Monday--and that you are having as much fun as I am creating fall outfits this season :)

SammyDress Review: one outfit + two cardigans

October 14, 2016

Cardigan #2: Grey Slouchy Cardigan (c/o)

Welcome Cardigan Season! :) It has finally cooled down the past couple of days here in California . . . and I was finally able to pull out some of my new favorite fall staples from SammyDress. The piece that I looked most forward to wearing this season was this patterned grey and white cardigan. It is honestly so comfortable. Plus, the price-point is AMAZING! At only $13, it is a steal! I also loved how this outfit transitioned perfectly when I switched out the first cardigan with a slouchy grey cardigan. Also, if you're looking to order any of these amazing items (or any other stylish pieces!) from SammyDress, you will be amazed by how quickly you will receive the items--they ship the items extremely fast! I was so amazed!

I hope that you have a lovely and cozy weekend :)

black + pink fall outfit inspo

October 12, 2016

My Outfit Details: TOP Pink Sleeveless Top (under $10!) // JACKET Denim Jacket (old, similar linked) // PANTS Black Paige Ankle Pants // SHOES Steve Madden 'Darcie' Sandals // PURSE Large Black Free People Tote // NECKLACE Kendra Scott 'Elisa' Necklace // EARRINGS Pearl Studs (similar linked)

Happy Wednesday!

I love incorporating pops of color into my fall and winter outfits! This pink sleeveless top is a great way to add a bright color to any outfit. I loved pairing it with these super comfortable black ankle pants--they look like jeans but they are jegging material (AMAZING!). They're a little pricey, but they are well-worth their price tag. You'll literally wear them over, and over, and over again.

My all-time favorite fall staple of mine is this denim jean jacket. I love throwing it on over a flowy maxi dress or a dressy blouse. Plus, jean jackets literally last FOREVER. This one has been in my closet for five years . . . and I wear it all the time and during every season :)

My Outfit Details: TOP Cold-Shoulder Sweater (c/o) // SKIRT Pink Tweed Wrap Skirt (on sale!) // EARRINGS Pearl Studs (similar linked) // NECKLACE Gold Layered Necklace // BRACELETS Alex and Ani 'Apple' Bracelet & Alex and Ani 'Heart' Bracelet // PURSE Tory Burch Crossbody Purse // SHOES Jeffrey Campbell Lace-Up Sandals

FINALLY! I am back to blogging. These past few weeks have been crazy busy . . . and I definitely struggled to keep up with it all. BUT I'm excited that I will be sticking to my normal schedule this week {Monday, Wednesday, Friday}.

It definitely has been interesting trying to dress for fall when it is still 90+ degrees out. You gotta love California weather. This outfit is definitly the result of the current summer-fall weather dressing crisis. Even though I would love to be wearing warm and cozy layers right now, I had to get creative due to the weather! The result? I knotted cold-shoulder sweater with a tweed wrap skirt. I'm still of FYI, this skirt is currently on sale! Also, can we talk about this layered necklace? It is beyond stunning. It is going to look so cute paired with a bunch of different sweaters this season.

Have a lovely Monday :)
