If you can't tell, my go to color to wear is black. Ever since my early teenage years, I have gravitated towards buying black pieces. The past few years I have tried to ignore my impulse to pick black and/or darker pieces and attempt to go outside of my comfort zone and incorporate POPS of color. But...every once and awhile I go back to my roots. For example, this outfit above. Every time I wear a black-heavy outfit I realize why I fell in love with wearing this color in the first place. A black outfit immediately looks fresh and classy. Ultimately, LBD's are my favorite classy look! I love this LBD and this one as well.

Also, I have always loved floral patterns and incorporating flowers into my outfits, even during the fall and winter months.  When paired with a floral pattern, black outfits provide a perfect back drop to really help the look stand out.

My current favorite floral pieces that you can incorporate into any outfit are:

Have a wonderful weekend.

  2. I used to wear only dark colors as a teenager then one fine day I fell in love with colors and my sis teases me all the time! Jen, she would begin: you will wear yellow shorts, blue shirt and carry a bloody pink bag! She's right, except I'm yet to buy yellow shorts!
Very beautiful look, esp love the jacket
